Square Chronicles Home :: Final Fantasy X-2
Sin is defeated and Spira is now getting back on its feet again after over a
thousand years of living with the threat of Sin. Yuna is alive and has joined
a shere hunter group called the GullWings. With rikku back and Paine being a
new comer the game allows you to find out how Spira is doing now that they can
get back to what they did long ago. Three resistance groups, heaps of Sphere
hunters and could he be still be alive?
The only direct sequel to a Final Fantasy game, Final Fantasy X-2 isn't as
popular as many thought. Alot of Final Fantasy VII fans were disapointed when
FFX-2 was being made not a playable sequel to Final Fantasy VII. Even though
it is a good game and you don't need to play Final Fantasy X to understand it,
the game hasn't got the same charm you may say as the first. The graphics are
slightly better than Final Fantasy X but it has got some features that Final
Fantasy X didn't have such as levels (in Final Fantasy X you level your guy
through using a sphere type board) you can jump to places to find treasure and
you have a flying transport straight away (though you can't fly it your self,
you have to choose a destination). Also the game is set in "stages"
which there are a total of five.
