Here is a small FAQ to answer (hopefully) all your questions about SC. If theres a question you want answered then use the contact page and it may be added here.

Q: When did you start Square Chronicles?
A: Back in Jan/Feb 2005 but i was a newbie when it came to being a webmistress. However after alot of problems im now "stable" as i have learned alot from those mistakes. I still call myself a "newbie" of sorts but even the most experienced webmistress/masters have to learn something new!

Q: What do you use to maintain Square Chronicles?
A: Adobe Photoshop 7.0, Adobe Photoshop Elements 5 (some brushes i find don't work with 7 so 5 gets most of them except the very new ones), Dreamweaver MX, A huge music collection including Square Enix songs (of course) and a Toshiba Satellite M40 laptop.

Q: I thought that all the good names are taken. How did you come up with Square Chronicles?
A: I had problems with getting the right name. It wasn't till i sat down and sorted the games collection that my family has (my whole family loves games. Period) a game called "heroes chronicles" came up. I thought of Square Chronicles and checked the domain hosts for it. I found it wasn't taken and picked that name. I didn't get my domain till three months later. This was before i got a host.

Q: Can i use your game info, free stuff, etc?
A: No. Inless your the one who wrote what you want to use. I know its hard to write content but just sit down and relax. Thats how i wrote the stuff i wrote. However, if its lyrics, interviews that are done with someone else apart from us and the offical works in the gallery then go ahead, we would like credit though but its up to you.

Q: Can i become staff?
A: if you want to become staff here then check for staff openings on the main site. I will post it if i need staff and go through there.

Q: How long are you going to have Square Chronicles online for?
A: I would like SC to never die but times change and it depends on what happens in real life. So far it looks like its going to exist for a while yet!

Q: Can you help me with my site?
A: Depends, if you mean for your staff no as im too busy with SC to help others but if its a problem you can't get out of then drop me a email and i'll see what i can do.

Q: What do you do if you or your staff members get accused of ripping?
A: Easy, Talk it out with the accuser if its me or talk it out with the accuser and the staff member in question. If its ripped then i will remove it from the site and fix it with the author.

Q: Whos your host?
A: Jay from Ziedrich.net is. Thanks to him i have a reliable host and all he asks for is a link in return and favours from time to time. He has also done alot to get the rebirth up so i have alot to thank for :D

Q: How many times a year do you plan to change layouts?
A: Twice, once every six months inless something major like too many errors happen because to change layouts i would have to do like a weeks work to change over.
